Robert Ryan has been at the fore of Passive House and Ultra Low Energy Building since 2005 and has been instrumental in bringing the Passive House standard to the English-speaking world. Robert spent many years travelling the world training and working on projects from America to China.
He has delivered over 500 projects to Passive House Standards including the first of Passive House Schools, Commercial Centres, Residential Units of all types from single to 24 storeys, and the tallest Passive House building in the world.
Robert Ryan is an Accredited thermal Modeller by the National Standards Authority of Ireland NSAI with Level Nine qualifications in building science-related subjects and helping lead the way in embodied carbon reductions through modelling.
Robert developed the first thermal bridging calculator in the US for use with LBNL therm in inch pound units which led to the success of his previous company and their growth in that continent.
Robert assists other professionals with their retrofit, new build, building regulation-compliant projects of all scales, including reducing the risk of mould, saving energy and providing healthier more comfortable environments.
